A duckling flies up to a high branch in our new hazelnut "tree,"
a gift from a spring windstorm. We have been hiding our stuffies
in the leaves, resting in its shade, and shaking its branches to
ring the chimes.
We photographed neighborhood flowers on a walk last week.
We noticed that many purple and yellow blooms fill our neighbors' gardens,
so we worked with those colors as we experimented with line drawings
and watercolor paintings. Some of the creations were naturalistic
and many were wildly inspired by the palette and lush shapes.
A joyful wedding party celebrated the springtime
marriage of Tangled and Cannon Boy.
