In the Studio

We've been creating lots of vibrantly colored art on black backgrounds.
We were initially inspired by Miles van Hout's illustrations in Friends,
and we've moved from oil pastel to tempera to collage as we've looked
for other inspiring images like the color palates in this book of photos.

One friend intently helps another to write her name on her artwork.

"I made this gnome to protect my family.  His name is
Jacko Hotdog.  But he can't fly."
