We froze tempera paint in ice cube trays today.
The paint pops were enticingly cold and bright.
The children painted with them and were interested by the broad strokes they necessitated.
Finally the pops melted into a bright gooey mess that was inviting to little fingers.
After creating designs in the paint, the children did a little monoprinting.
Look for the results in your child's art bag!
